𝐅𝐒𝐓𝐎 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐒𝐄𝐃 - 𝐅𝐒 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬\' 𝐎𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐌𝐒𝐔-𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐮 𝐒𝐇𝐒

The Future Secondary Teachers Organization (FSTO), led by Prof. Abdulhan N. Jannaral, held its 2nd General Orientation for the Field Study students of the College of Education - Bachelor of Secondary Education program last September 14, 2024, at Raja Baguinda Hall.

With the theme "Empowering 21st Century Educators with the Current Trends, Skills, and Knowledge for a Globally Competitive World," the said event also welcomed the presence of faculty members and department heads from the MSU-Sulu Senior High School Department.

Prof. Nurmini Udjah-Supian, SHS Secretary, represented SHS Director Dr. Norman A. Abdurahman for the introduction of the SHS Faculty and Staff Line-up. As for the orientation proper, Ms. Nurlina M. Ahmad informed the FS students of the relevant data about the SHS department including the student population, sections, available subjects for observation, and others.

Afterwards, FS students received words of inspiration from their respective department coordinators, namely: Prof. Darwisa S. Sayadi from the Science Dept., and Ms. Hartini H. Mansul and Prof. Mohaider J. Kairan, for the Math and English Dept., represented by Prof. Abdulhan N. Jannaral. Other members of the SHS faculty, including Ms. Narsima A. Sabbaha and Prof. Abubakar J. Radjuni, also delivered their empowering messages as well.

To address some inquiries from the students, an open forum was held prior to the event's conclusion. Ms. Arniza J. Kiram, IQRA Adviser, then expressed her appreciation and gave some advice to students as part of her closing remarks.
