Advancing Coconut Productivity through Innovation: Seminar on Improved Coconut Production Technology

June 12, 2024 – The 3rd Year Agri-Business Management (ABM) students of the MSU-Sulu College of Agriculture conducted a seminar under ABM-179, facilitated by Prof. Hja. Amrija A. Saradi. The session featured Mr. Alfahar Saiddi of PCA-Sulu, who shared expertise on Improved Coconut Production Technology, equipping students with advanced knowledge for sustainable and high-yield coconut farming. The event was graced by the Acting Dean, Prof. Merhama M. Sammah, alongside faculty members, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and practical agricultural advancement. This initiative contributes to SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) by promoting food security through improved crop productivity, SDG 4 (Quality Education) through specialized training, SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by strengthening agribusiness opportunities, and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) by promoting sustainable farming practices. It also advances SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through collaboration with PCA-Sulu.
