Advancing Sustainable Agriculture through Knowledge Transfer: Fermented Concoction Lecture for OJT and Practicum Students

June 10, 2024 – The MSU-Sulu College of Agriculture, Patikul Extension Class, welcomed Engr. Sarha A. Sangkula, Supervising Agriculturist of AMAS, MAFAR-Sulu, as lecturer for OJT and In-Campus Practicum students at the Demo Farm. Her lecture on Fermented Concoction preparation strengthened students’ competencies in sustainable and organic farming, fostering innovation in soil fertility and crop productivity. This initiative advances SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) by promoting sustainable food systems, SDG 4 (Quality Education) through practical agricultural training, and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) by encouraging eco-friendly farming inputs. It also supports SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through collaboration with agricultural agencies. The College of Agriculture expresses deep gratitude to Engr. Sangkula for her invaluable support and meritorious service in shaping future agricultural professionals.
