The ALIVE Club of MSU-Sulu SHS participated in a seminar themed “Voices of a Generation: The Change Starts Here” organized by the Nourun Nisah Organization, in partnership with the Office of MP Don Arbison Loong on December 30, 2024, at Mustapha Center, Loong Compound, San Raymundo, Jolo, Sulu. Focusing on educating the youth about their Islamic roles in society, the program opened with a Qur’an recitation by Ahmadnaj Habibon, the ALIVE Club’s Ameer. Two inspiring talks followed: Sheikh Yahya Abdulhamid spoke on “The Role of Youth in Society,” while Sheikh Maher Mustaham highlighted the “Central Role of Maqasid Al-Shariah in Guiding Youth to Success.” The event ended with an open forum where ALIVE Club members Ahmadnaj Habibon, Ahmadnur Habibon, and Narcisa Yusop asked questions, fostering a thoughtful exchange. The seminar inspired attendees to embrace their roles as change-makers, grounded in faith and purpose.
