Collaborative Farm Environment Management for Sustainable Agricultural Development at MSU Sulu

SDG: 11: Sustainable cities and communities | Posted by: Hamier-Khan M. Lincoln | Posted: October 23, 2025

On November 24, 2024, the staff and students of the MSU Sulu College of Agriculture carried out a joint cleanup and clearing activity at the frontage of the Demo Farm in Langtad, marking an important step toward creating a more inviting and sustainable agricultural environment. This initiative reinforces the university’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals—SDG 4 (Quality Education) by fostering experiential learning through community participation, SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) and SDG 15 (Life on Land) by promoting cleaner and greener spaces, SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) through sustainable farm maintenance practices, and SDG 13 (Climate Action) by supporting climate-resilient agriculture. The activity demonstrates how collective action can strengthen both the learning environment and the long-term vision of sustainable farming in Sulu.https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1FPQfNkMxV/
