Division Of Student Affairs and Supreme Student Council Spearheads Freshies\' Day 2024

The Division of Student Affairs and the Supreme Student Council, under the leadership of Prof. Al-Gajar M. Sarahadil, Director of the Division of Student Affairs, organized a successful Freshies’ Day 2024 for incoming freshmen from eight colleges.

 The event began with a lively parade on the university campus. The gymnasium was transformed into a vibrant display of colorful booths presented by campus-wide organizations. One of the highlights was the Yelling Competition, where freshmen exhibited their enthusiasm and creativity. Chancellor Nagder J. Abdurahman shared words of encouragement with the new college students. The gathering was also graced by esteemed campus officials and college deans.

 This exhibits the neophyte students’ wit and capabilities as a new breed of MSUans. This event also introduced them to the rules and regulations of the university, the campus wide organizations that they can be part of and ultimately, it's their grand welcome and transition as Islanders.
