Final Assessment on Organic Fertilizer Production: Empowering Future Agriculturists through Practical Competence in FFJ, FPJ, and Calphos

July 19, 2024 – The MSU-Sulu College of Agriculture conducted the final assessment for OJT and in-campus practicum students on the preparation of Fermented Fruit Juice (FFJ), Fermented Plant Juice (FPJ), and Calcium Phosphate (Calphos). This hands-on evaluation reinforces their technical skills in sustainable farming inputs, advancing SDG 4 (Quality Education) by fostering experiential learning, SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) through the promotion of organic crop production, SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) by utilizing eco-friendly methods, and SDG 13 (Climate Action) through reduced reliance on chemical fertilizers. Such initiatives highlight the college’s commitment to producing agriculturists equipped for sustainable development.
