Half a Century of Academic Excellence: MSU-Sulu marks 50 years with a Grand Celebration

On Dec. 14, 2024, the streets of Jolo in Sulu province were filled with a powerful sense of unity and pride as Mindanao State University-Sulu held a parade to celebrate its 50th Anniversary. Commencing at 3:00 PM, the parade featured University officials, students, faculty members and staff, MSU-Sulu Alumni and other distinguished guests.
Starting from the Jolo Municipal Hall and culminating at the MSU-Sulu Field, the parade successfully concluded at 6:00 PM.
The official commencement of the program was marked by an invocation by Mr. Jardin M. Abdulpatta, singing of the Philippine National Anthem and the MSU-Sulu Hymn which stirred the patriotisms of the hearts of all the participants. To warmly welcome everyone, Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance, Abuzamier Asanji, delivered an encouraging speech. Later, Ms. Jundam expressed gratitude to the distinguished guests.
