August 2, 2024 – The MSU-Sulu College of Agriculture successfully conducted its Initial Orientation and General Meeting for Academic Year 2024–2025, marking the official start of another year of academic excellence, student development, and community engagement. The activity served as a platform to inform students about institutional policies, academic guidelines, and developmental programs while fostering a culture of responsibility, inclusivity, and sustainability.
This initiative directly advances SDG 4 (Quality Education) by strengthening academic readiness, SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by preparing students for future careers in agriculture, and SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) by cultivating future agricultural innovators. It further supports SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) by promoting equal access to opportunities, SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) through academic-community linkages, SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) by embedding sustainability in education, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through collaboration with stakeholders.
By starting the year with clarity of vision and commitment to excellence, the College of Agriculture ensures that its students are not only prepared for academic success but are also equipped to become catalysts of sustainable agricultural development and global progress.
