JULY 17, 2024 - At the Langtad Demo Farm, OJT students of the MSU Sulu College of Agriculture actively engaged in the preparation of organic fertilizers, formulating a variety of fermented concoctions as part of their research projects. This hands-on activity directly contributes to the advancement of several Sustainable Development Goals—SDG 4 (Quality Education) by strengthening experiential and research-based learning, SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) through the promotion of sustainable food production practices, SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) by encouraging the use of organic and eco-friendly inputs, SDG 13 (Climate Action) by reducing the carbon footprint of farming systems, and SDG 15 (Life on Land) by enhancing soil health and biodiversity. By combining education, innovation, and sustainability, the College of Agriculture reaffirms its commitment to shaping future agriculturists equipped to address local and global agricultural challenges.
