MSU-Sulu COA Faculty Attend Five-Day Coffee Barista Training in Davao City

June 8, 2024, Davao City — Two faculty members from the Mindanao State University–Sulu, College of Agriculture, Mr. Munib J. Baki and Ms. Neriza J. Kiram, together with Mr. Mojarni Jalali of MTIT-Sulu, completed a five-day Coffee Barista Training in Davao City.

The training aimed to enhance participants’ skills in coffee preparation, quality evaluation, and sustainable enterprise development—supporting the growth of the Kahawa Sug coffee industry in Sulu.

This initiative supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 1 (No Poverty) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), by empowering local stakeholders toward sustainable livelihoods and inclusive economic progress.
