MSU-Sulu COA Spearheads Tree Planting Activity

June 26, 2024 – The MSU-Sulu College of Agriculture spearheaded a Tree Planting Activity under the theme “Rooting for a Greener Future: Cultivating Hope and Sowing Change.” This initiative demonstrates the institution’s strong commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement, directly advancing SDG 13 (Climate Action) by mitigating climate change, SDG 15 (Life on Land) by restoring ecosystems and enhancing biodiversity, and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) by promoting greener and more resilient spaces. The activity also supports SDG 4 (Quality Education) by integrating hands-on environmental learning and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through collaborative action. Together, these efforts symbolize the college’s dedication to cultivating sustainable development for present and future generations.
