MSU-Sulu, COEd Attends Teaching Needs Assessment

Selected faculty members from the College of Education recently attended the Teaching Needs Assessment project hosted by MBHTE in partnership with Pathways, Australian aid, Acert, and MSU System on November 5-9, 2024 held at cecille's hotel and restaurant, Zamboanga City and venue 88, Gensan City.
The College of Education representatives of MSU-Sulu successfully completed the third phase of the Teacher Needs Assessment Tools project held at Zamboanga City. It was participated by the College Dean, Dr. Abdel Ajim Salasain and Sir Radam Yusop. On the other hand, Mrs Jicky Joy Sarih and Sir Gadzfar Dammang participated the same event held at venue 88, General Santos City. The MSU-Sulu team was led by the College Dean, Dr. Abdel Ajim Salasain, serving as the focal person for the project. Curriculum specialists, Mrs. Jicky Joy Sarih and Sir Radam Yusop, worked on writing and refining the curriculum components, while Sir Gadzfar Dammang provided essential support as one of the resource speakers.
Beginning with the Phase 1 and Phase 2 training for the validation, administration, and piloting of various educational tools, this ongoing initiative seeks to identify critical areas where teachers need support in order to identify future interventions that will improve the region's educational quality and efficacy.
