MSU-Sulu College of Agriculture Explores Irrigation Partnership with NIA to Boost Farm Sustainability

October 17, 2024 — Representatives from the MSU-Sulu College of Agriculture held an engaging discussion with NIA officials Ma’am Fkd Zdef, Ma’am Vergie Arreza, and Sir Alnajir Bari at the Sulu Provincial Agriculture Office to explore potential irrigation system support for the Integrated Food Production and Conservation (IFPC) Demo Farm.

The collaboration aims to enhance agricultural productivity, water efficiency, and sustainable farm management, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 2: Zero Hunger, SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, and SDG 13: Climate Action.
