SDG: 6: Clean water and sanitation | Posted by: Prof. Abubakar J. Radjuni | Posted: October 23, 2025
On September 6, 2024, the MSU-Sulu College of Agriculture Patikul Extension Class students under NST001 spearheaded a General Cleaning Activity as part of their commitment to cultivating responsible citizenship and sustainable agricultural communities. This initiative not only nurtures discipline and cooperation among students but also strengthens their role in building healthier and safer learning environments. The activity directly aligns with SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) by ensuring a clean and safe space, SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) by promoting hygiene and waste management, and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) by fostering inclusive, resilient, and sustainable communities. Moreover, it contributes to SDG 13 (Climate Action) through environmental care and SDG 15 (Life on Land) by emphasizing the importance of land stewardship. By engaging in such practices, the College of Agriculture instills in its students the values of sustainability, responsibility, and service to the community—an integral step toward achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
