MSU-Sulu SHS holds 5th Recognition Day

Mindanao State University-Sulu Senior High School Department gracefully commenced its 5th Recognition Day for the academic year 2023-2024, with the theme: "Kabataang Pilipino, Para sa Matatag na Kinabukasan ng Bagong Pilipino" at the MSU-Sulu Gymnasium on June 20, 2024.
The program was started by an invocation led by Mr. Ahmadnaj U. Habibon, a With High Honors from STEM 1-11, it was then followed by the singing of the National Anthem, BARMM Hymn and the MSU-Sulu Hymn.
Ms. Nurennor J. Bahaluddin, a With Highest Honors from STEM 1-11, brought sparks to the awardees through her opening remarks. The program then proceeded to the momentous awarding of honors in both the STEM and GAS Strand's grade 11 students.
From the STEM Strand, 1 student was recognized as With Highest Honors, 12 students as With High Honors, and 71 as With Honors. From the GAS Strand, 6 got With High Honors and 59 were With Honors.
After then, Mrs. Narsima A. Sabbaha, as the guest speaker, delivered her inspirational message to the achievers and later on was awarded by a plaque of appreciation for her enlightening words.
Thereafter, the program proceeded to the awarding of the academic achievers from the Grade 12 students of both Strands. Then, an intermission number was given by Ms. Hanan Shaheena S. Amilbahar, a student from STEM 1-12, singing with her stunning voice. Following this is one of the most awaited highlights of the event, the awarding of special awards to the Grade 12 students from different clubs, organizations of their service award and other academic achievements.
Mr. Almudzrin H. Arip serenade the crowd with his astounding performance.
Finally, a relatable closing remarks was given by Mr. Khalid H. Mama, a With High Honors from STEM 6-11. Before the students were dismissed, a memorable recap through a video produced by the IQRA' Publication was presented via LED wall. Later on, the students sang the Himno ng Pamantasan to officially end the program.
With the attendance of the Senior High School Director, Dr. Norman Abdurahman, the Guest Speaker, Mrs. Narsima Sabbaha, the Adviser of the MSU-Sulu Supreme Student Council, Prof. Al-Gajar Sarahadil, and the SHS faculty members and staffs, the program concluded successfully. Furthermore, Mr. Almudzrin Arip and Ms. Arniza Kiram were the masters of the ceremony.
