NSTP General Orientation

The Mindanao State University-Sulu National Service Training Program held the "General Orientation and Ecological Solid Waste Management Forum" last Jan. 28, 2024 at the MSU-Sulu Gymnasium.

According to Prof. Neri Jalani, the director of NSTP, since February is declared as Zero-Waste Month, it is timely to educate the students on ecological solid waste management.

The forum was graced by the two lecturers: Mr. Sabran H. Jupakkal, senior ecosystem management specialist, Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, and Energy (MENRE)-Sulu; and Prof. Al-Gajar M. Sarahadil, director for the Division of Student Affairs. Mr. Jupakkal lectured on ecological solid waste management while Prof. Sarahadil lectured on micro plastic waste.

The orientation for NSTP students was conducted by Prof. Neri B. Jalani, NSTP director, while the CWTS orientation was conducted by Mr. Irshad J. Indanan, Registrar I and NSTP lecturer. In addition, the ROTC orientation was conducted by VTI Albani.

Dr. Rafael A. Regellana, vice-chancellor for Academic Affairs; and other key officials were present during the orientation.
