SDG: 2: Zero hunger | Posted by: Jonel T. Alibasa | Posted: October 21, 2025
The Patikul Extension Class Coordinator, Prof. Nedzfa A. Ahajani of the MSU-Sulu College of Agriculture, paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Nabdar C. Alli, Principal of DUBCES, to foster collaboration and strengthen academic–community partnerships. This engagement underscores the role of extension programs in bringing agricultural education closer to communities, supporting the development of future-ready learners and resilient local food systems. The initiative directly contributes to SDG 4 (Quality Education) by enhancing access to agricultural learning, SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) by promoting inclusive community development, SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by building strong institutional linkages, and indirectly to SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) by aligning education with agricultural productivity. Such courtesy visits highlight the College’s commitment to bridging academia and community stakeholders for shared progress and sustainable development.
