Sustainable Crop Establishment Towards a Bountiful Harvest at MSU-Sulu IFPC Demo Farm
SDG: 2: Zero hunger | Posted by: Jonel T. Alibasa | Posted: October 21, 2025
On May 6, 2024, the MSU-Sulu College of Agriculture, through its Integrated Farming and Production Center (IFPC), initiated seed planting activities that symbolize the foundation of sustainable agriculture and food security. This effort directly supports SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) by advancing resilient food systems, SDG 4 (Quality Education) by providing students with experiential and hands-on learning, SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) by integrating eco-friendly and resource-efficient practices, and SDG 15 (Life on Land) by enriching soil health and biodiversity. More than planting, this initiative is a shared commitment to cultivating a future of abundance, ensuring a truly bountiful harvest for the community and generations to come.
